Their bodies were taken to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. 🔹 A day earlier, the head of the civilian police force in northern Gaza was killed in a separate Israeli strike. The Israeli military claimed it had struck a “Hamas militant,” and has killed hundreds of members of Gaza’s police force since October 7, and 55 in recent months. 🔹The UN human rights office has documented at least a dozen attacks on police in 2026, including officers directing traffic and patrolling markets. “The pattern of attacks raises concerns that Israeli forces apply no distinction between police personnel and fighters,” it said.
