4. Weak or coarse-grained authorization
β Problem: One-size-fits-all rules let any agent run sensitive actions

Solution: Granular scope delegation via verifiable credentials β agents present only the claims needed for each task
5. Secrets & credential leakage
β Problem: Keys and tokens show up in prompts where attackers steal them

Solution: Key-binding proofs (KB-JWT per RFC 9901) β agents prove key possession without exposing secrets
6. Privacy & data-leak exposure
β Problem: Personal data leaves safe zones and lands in the wrong hands

The gap isn't tooling. It's trust infrastructure.
Verifiable credentials on public registries like cheqd give AI agents what OAuth 2.1 bearer tokens can't: cryptographic proof of human authorization, real-time revocation, and privacy-preserving delegation.
