@JCRYPTO_YT 3/3 A bit of a fun recap for when #flexathon was started (which would eventually turned into #cassandra #cassie) https://t.co/JsbWKXMQc2

@JCRYPTO_YT @radixdlt @Radix_ecosystem @ben_xrd If you want to have a drive down memory lane >> Explore the hashtag #flexathon This was the name of @fuserleer 's exploration to implement fully sharded Cerberus It's now been re-named to "Cassandra" #Cassie Oldest tweet I could find dates back dec 2020: https://t.co/PXpfWCW9Mr

#sneakpeak #flexathon showcase = interactive twitter import 😎 100+TB of twitter data from ~2012-2020 will be imported to #cerby #flexathon implementation. Tweets, replies, profile images, media everything. #checkmate #crypto

@TheTurbo2k19 The previous #cassie execution model was implemented waaay before the spec of the #radixengine was final. Like most of the #flexathon code, it's functional but junk. This refactor brings it a closer to what the #radixengine is doing, but I'm still taking some liberties for R&D

Past few days I've had time to think, seems fever induced trippy thoughts about state machines hold some merit🤣 #eli5 the manner which #cassie manages substate inefficient. Makes sense as it's mostly old code from #flexathon There's at *least* 2-3x throughput improvement😎

@CaviarLabs Haven't tested per validator throughput yet with #vamos there's still lots of low hanging optimizing to do. Expect it to sustain ~1500-2000 #teepees The instance at #flexathon was doing an average data throughput of ~70MB/s before I had to throttle back due to storage exhaustion

Well done to those that voted clown 🤡 Unfortunately while influence based voting has about 90% of the bits needed to convert to #pos this code was cut when #cassie was #flexathon I had not considered the sheer amount of corners cut & questionable code 🤣

Dan Hughes | Radix @fuserleer

Big task today! Time to rip out the basic influence based #cassie vote power & replace it with #pos 💪 Wondering if I can get it done in ~12hrs? 🤔

Actually I lie ... it's more like 5 months as I forgot about the #flexathon #twitter browser demo. Ugh #javascript always feels like an intense learning curve every time I pick it up as by banishing the pain from my mind must also delete all the learnings hah

A live showcase of Radix is just around the corner! @fuserleer is working away on #Cassandra / #Flexathon and it's going to be HUGE!! We'll be able to surf around on a decentralised version of Twitter built on Radix, proving the fundamentals. Matter of weeks, if not days away!
