@KMusakanya It was a #Flop28. In summary polluters will continue polluting, will buy carbon credits to appease themselves, and Africa will pay the price.

This whole climate emergency is designed around suffocating so called developing countries while entrenching imperialist hegemony.
There can never be fossil fuel phaseout when BlackRock is the biggest investor in fossil fuels ,including coal. .. which is good for their profits and vicariously we get to get a lifeline from usage of baseload and lowe energy costs compared to the dirty expensive alternatives wind and solar being marketed as clean energies.
Blackrock (USA) is well invested in Saudi ARAMCO and overall Middle East oil industry , and the #COP28 President had a duty to ensure the interests of BlackRock are protected at COP28. So, it is not so much about Middle East pushing against the climate crisis scam but rather it is the USA leading that war while foiling everyone else into pointing fingers at Saudi.
BREAKING NEWS: The failed #COP28 climate summit in Dubai has been colloquially renamed "FLOP28" and TNT's Marc Morano @ClimateDepot is celebrating this on the air..

As usual there wasn’t a single word in the PM's speech about the biggest polluter on the planet – China – nor about the EU’s biggest economy Germany, which pumps out double the amount of CO2 as the UK does, and been re-activating its coal-fired power stations.
