@sharrond62 Can recommend Greece. Took 10 minutes at Thessaloniki from stepping into the terminal building off the plane to picking up my luggage. And Greece has fantastic history & archaeology, perhaps the friendliest people in Europe, excellent weather & gorgeous coastline. #ForgetFrance

And closer to home, there are loads of European countries that actually want our business. Portugal and Spain, for instance, allow us to use their eGates, which the French have decided not to allow us to do in France. #ForgetFrance

The US, of course, is a great alternative. Wildly varied landscapes, very helpful people. My recommendation: fly to SF, pick up a car, drive East via Yosemite and Death Valley out to the Grand Canyon. #ForgetFrance
