🚨 #FOXEXCLUSIVE: 60 Minutes featured a deported Malian national whose wife and two children spoke about how much they miss him and want him home.
But we exclusively obtained Moussa Diawara’s asylum application, where he said he was seeking asylum in the U.S. because he was gay and feared being killed if sent back.
Now, DHS is pointing to his case as an example of alleged immigration fraud.
In his own words, Diawara wrote:
“Although I was born as a boy, but things appeared differently for me as I was already having female behaviors and feelings.”
“I was more comfortable being intimate with boys rather than with girls.”
And describing his life after arriving in the United States:
“Since I came to the USA I had the possibilities to express my feelings to men without any embarrassment no reserve.”

“It feels really empty without him,” says 16-year-old Corey Diawara, whose father was deported in July.
His father had lived in the U.S. for 25 years and had no criminal record. Moussa Diawara says he was deported without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge. He was eventually sent to Mali, a country a U.S. immigration judge ruled he could not be deported to.
In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security told 60 Minutes that Ghana had provided the U.S. with “diplomatic assurances for his safety.” DHS also questioned the credibility of Diawara’s arguments for fearing persecution in Mali. https://t.co/P6flp7Q41f

#FOXEXCLUSIVE: A child sex offender and criminal illegal alien from Guatemala was arrested after dragging an ICE officer 50 yards with his car in Bloomington, Minnesota, according to DHS. During a traffic stop, Roberto Carlos Munoz, tried to flee law enforcement and put his car in drive while an ICE officer still had his arm inside the car, dragging the officer.
“This illegal alien has been committing violent crimes in the U.S. for nearly 15 years," Assistant DHS Secretary @TriciaOhio. "He is a convicted child sex offender who has a rap sheet that includes an arrest for domestic assault and multiple offenses for driving offenses. Under Governor Tim Walz, this sicko was living in Minnesota without Consequence. Instead of comparing ICE law enforcement to the Gestapo, he should be thanking our brave law enforcement for arresting these violent criminals.”
His lengthy criminal rap sheet in the U.S. dates back to 2010. According to DHS, he has been arrested for domestic assault and convicted of sex crimes against an underage teenager. Additionally, he’s been convicted for driving without a valid license, and multiple charges for driving illegally. ICE first lodged a detainer on him in 2013.
