Yes you were at the trial every day but that doesn’t mean you know that Lucy Letby is guilty or that you understood all the complexities of the case.

Evidence in first #LucyLetby trial was incorrect, CPS admits
@DavidDavisMP : "It is therefore essential that the CPS makes it plain whether those errors occurred throughout any of the evidence of the first trial."

How long can the legal establishment hold out against the obvious need for a Letby retrial?

At 7.10 this morning, BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme acknowledged doubts over Lucy Letby’s conviction, in the guise of a press review. Breakthrough . Next, they need to report it themselves..
Let's see if the CPS answers to Sir David Davis, now.
NONE of the credentialed journalists in court on 20th June 2024 reported what should be a crucial piece of evidence.

If the swipe data was incorrect for all the cases in the original trial, this news is huge

The Telegraph - We made mistakes over Letby evidence, admits CPS

https://t.co/tPY6itnwpt I would bet a million to one she’s innocent. And truth will out (more and more, is coming out; and there’s more to come). Lucy Letby will walk free, one day. The longer it takes the greater the damage to the reputation of the UK. @TheSun

On 7 July 2016, the unit stopped taking high-risk babies, they've cut cot numbers & no longer accommodated premature births before 32 weeks.
There is no "coincidence" with Letby being removed
Facts are facts, the lack of them is the problem with this case

I’m hoping some of the experts I have been speaking to will be called to the public inquiry, where they will have to give evidence under oath, and will probably say they don’t think Lucy Letby was picked up earlier because there were more plausible and common natural causes of death, and they still have that view after the trial. And their views can be properly scrutinised on the stand.
@drphilhammond @PrivateEyeNews At the Baby K retrial, Lucy Letby said that standing over the baby when they started to desaturate was what she had been trained to do. The prosecution never argued this was a lie.
And that will all come out when the police take the hospital to court for corporate manslaughter. And you can be certain they will have a huge bank of expert witnesses to defend themselves, paid for by the taxpayer.
One of the things I value about writing for @PrivateEyeNews is that I have no control whatsoever over the letters’ page, and often letters are published that challenge my own views. The letter below is one example. However, I strongly disagree that the jury heard “the totality of the evidence.” They didn’t hear any evidence at all from expert witnesses for the defence, and no matter how brilliant your barrister is, anything that comes out of his mouth is not evidence. If you have no experts on your side, you have no expert evidence to support your case. If you still believe experts are truly unbiased, see my previous tweet.
I’m also not sure that Letby was “caught doing nothing whilst an infant was crashing”. I was taught that neonates will often self correct, and so observing first before intervening may actually be good practice. I was also taught that it’s okay to turn the alarm off if a nurse or doctor is present, but that was in 1988. Can any expert update me on the current practice?
For context, I think Sam Brannan is a pseudonym for a retired dermatologist.

Can we start talking about the DIRECT evidence of Letby's innocence?
And the complexity of the case for the Jury?
"#LucyLetby would have needed a Nostradamus-like ability to read the future to target her alleged victims", a court has been told.

The medical evidence against Lucy Letby is clearly defective, says medical and legal expert Dr. Peter Hayes. None of the infant deaths were regarded as suspicious at autopsy. So why was her appeal rejected? https://t.co/XZpC3KekU5
@Johnrashton47 It will be too late, by then everybody will know they’re unsafe convictions. Judith should be embarrassed of her coverage of the trial. The real journalists put their story out today and Rachel Aviv in May. #freedomforLucy
