Currencies would ultimately be valued relative to gold (gold as the reference point), leading to a massive revaluation of physical gold ( often cited figures from Another/FOA era were in the $10,000–$30,000 range at the time; later interpreters like FOFOA have suggested higher, e.g., $55,000+ in modern terms).
The paper gold market could collapse or decouple, causing paper prices to crash while physical premiums soar.
