I am using the #FT990 for a long time. Now i had the chance to get this beautiful radio, a #FT1000MP in excellent condition. I did use it as contest radio with #DL0KF for many years. Now this one will find a place in my shack.

After nearly 25 years of operation i had to repair the s-meter lamp of my #YAESU #FT990. I replaced the bulb with a LED from the model making market and used a 1 kOhm resistor to reduce the brightness.
