YUP, I bought BOTH from #Funcoland on #CentralAvenue in #YonkersNY. They were WAY ahead of their time, and one of the MANY reasons @Nintendo is one of my FAVORITE publishers!
This is a sad day indeed! I was there working for #Funcoland 33 years ago when the 1st issue was released, it was a mere 7-10 page advertisement that turned into one of the premiere print magazines. The integrity that was always on display though your coverage of the gaming industry will be missed.
I am truly thankful to all of the amazing journalists that have come through this incredible publication. My heart goes out to the entire staff effected by this horrible news and I wish you the best of luck on your next venture, hopefully, you find a new home much sooner than later.
