Just tried a new #fakegin and spat it out. How can this stuff have had good reviews. It was the worst thing I ever ever tasted as a drink bleugh. J2o on ice with a dash of grenadine and lime is today’s alternative drink.
#fakegin delivery 😀 This one is supposed to be very nice. 🤣
@theginblog This isn’t an isolated occurance. I can think of several brand owners that talk utter nonsense about “hand crafted” when they’re based nowhere near where the stuff is produced, didn’t develop the recipes themselves and wouldn’t even know how to make it at all in reality! #Fakegin
Some people think it's OK to market a brand home as a distillery if they haven't got a still! They aren't craft or even crafty, just deliberately misleading consumers. Check Instagram for pictures of the distillery before buying. #Gin #Distillery #Fakegin https://t.co/germ3g4XSb
@martin_g_reid @Craft56Scotland @GinKiosk 100% agree. Bogus gins are not just bad for the customer, its bad for the spirits industry as a whole. It undermines consumer confidence and drags down the premium offerings in the category. The SWA wouldn't allow this with whisky, why do we? #Fakegin isn't real #Gin
Amazing product....not a joke!!
Who is the target? adult? infant?
Que mal que le hace esto al Gin....seguramente durara muy poco igualmente.

@gin_and_beer @katiebhughes @theginguide @TheGinasium @theginwyche @LorimerPam We also believe that gin has a bright, long and profitable future ahead of it if the industry is nurtured and protected. With many gin makers putting their homes at risk to make great gins we feel it's only a matter of time before gin brands become more vocal about #fakegin
@GinObsessions Hi Natalie interesting article. Re #fakegin it's not gone away. It's not straightforward but several things are hopefully happening. It's going to take a while. Probably should be reviewed in 12 months. Hope that helps.

I can see it now. In a police cell in deepest darkest London.
"What you in for?"
Woman 1 "Burglary"
Woman 2 "Assault"
"How about you love?" As she looks at me.
"Sticking #fakegin stickers on bottles in Tesco"
Utterly fed up of 'gins' being launched that clearly fall more into the camp of flavoured vodka than gin. Not a whiff of juniper about them.
Sorely tempted to get #fakegin stickers printed to stick on bottles when I see them on shelves...
I shouldn't though. Should I..?
