Yoi. Fans k-pop di Indonesia ini sering melakukan apa yg disebut dlm ekonomi digital sbg unpaid labor alias buruh gratisan.
Mereka berpromosi gratis, menerjemahkan konten, sampai2 mau2nya melakukan pembelaan masif kpd idolanya di media sosial.
Tp dr POV ekonomi industri Korea, fans k-pop Indonesia ini cuma angka2 yg bisa dieksploitasi. Mereka dipandang sbg sekelompok manusia2 yg cuma berguna dlm efisiensi biaya pemasaran.
Nah, ketika suatu massa fans K-Pop Indonesia cuma dianggap sbg angka untuk mendongkrak popularitas, industri kreatif Korea memanfaatkan hasil eksposur fans Indonesia tsb agar bisa menjual artis2nya dgn harga lebih mahal ke pasar Amerika dan Eropa.
Dlm konteks sosiologi-ekonomi, ketika seseorang memberikan tenaga secara cuma2 demi keuntungan pihak lain yang sudah kaya, posisi orang tersebut dalam hierarki ekonomi dianggap golongan yg sangat rendah, mudah dimanfaatkan, mudah diekploitasi, mudah dikibuli.
Tak heran kalau sebagian masyararat Korea dgn enteng menyebut fans k-pop Indonesia-yg sebetulnya telah berkontribusi luar biasa dlm pasar volume negaranya- nggak lebih dari monyet belaka.
