Our team has tried its best to engage with @HMcEntee & the visa section @DeptJusticeIRL for a reasonable solution but no one has paid heed yet.

1/ This doctor has been working in @HSELive for past 9 years & been waiting for 3+ years to reunite with his spouse & 3 year old daughter. His family visa was rejected recently after a long wait with frivolous & generic copy paste refusal reasons. He was admitted to hospital

of staff is a huge concern at the moment, raising serious questions on credibility & training of visa officers. Ironically, there is no complaint system to challenge this unfair treatment & appeal takes another few years.

Dr Muzammil is a new Irish, a brilliant GP & has been serving @HSELive for more than 10 years now. He has better opportunities all across globe but has made Ireland home.

Our HSE staff need us. Many are New Irish & want to look after their families here. Despite being trusted to care for our health many are refused or made jump thru hoops etc. it’s time we had a #FastTrackFamilyVisa

Our health service could not exist without the care & professionalism of Irish & New Irish staff. In my own case my life was saved by a Consultant from the Middle East. It’s time we recognised our incredible good fortune, that some of the best ppl want to come here & help us.

There should be a #FasttrackFamilyVisa service for Healthcare Providers. Thank you for highlighting this issue and I strongly believe that @DeptJusticeIRL will have a look at it and help streamline the process to reduce the waiting times for healthcare workers. 🙏
