Hi frens, Since we are entering the descent auction phase, I’m dropping Day 35’s artwork a bit early today. This piece speaks about the corporate world, the place I’ve been working in for almost 13 years. It has always been challenging. No matter how much you give, they always ask for more. Every day, I think about quitting, but the thought of “what’s next?” stops me. I started my career with so much fire! I was passionate, driven, and full of energy. But somewhere along the way, I lost that light. Now, I’ve become an 8 to 6 machine, doing whatever tasks I’m given, with no questions asked. Life gets hard sometimes, but you hold on, hoping things will change. And over time, I started to love what I do, not because it fulfills me, but because I’ve lost touch with what I really wanted. In the end, we become what we never wanted, just to survive in a system that never cared to ask who we truly are. Presenting: Corporate Purgatory Going live on Wednesday, 11 June 2024, at 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM (UTC) via Descent Auction Method.
