While watching this video of the arrest of the Palestinians and the method of their arrest, today's news brought back to our memory a scene we have seen and known in Bahrain. This scene points to the #Duraz_Massacre in #Fida_Square. The same method and manner, and both at the hands of foreigners, whether it was there or here, for they are all of the same kind. So are they [not] two faces of the same coin?
O Avenger! May Allah relieve them and avenge them.

On May 23, 2017, a day that carried the scent of blood and soil, the hearts of the Fida'is (Self-Sacrificers) soared to embrace the pinnacle of sacrifice, like moons orbiting their planet, while bullets rained down relentlessly. This is Duraz.
A year after the revocation of Ayatollah Qassim’s citizenship and a year after Bahrainis started their sit-in around the house of His Eminence, news emerged of the regime’s intent to arrest the country’s leading political and religious authorities on May 21, 2017. Reinforcements and military vehicles converged on the besieged protest square, and the fog lifted, revealing everything. The Interior Ministry’s announcement signaled the violent dispersal of the sit-in, even if it meant bloodshed.
Blood flowed on the doorsteps and entrances, and the martyrs fell without withering, like 5 fresh flowers. Some were wounded, others arrested.
"His blood and mine are cheap for the sake of religion, and just as Mustafa departed (as in martyred), we will all depart (be martyred) for the sake of religion. In place of one Mustafa, a thousand Mustafas will rise."

There, the Fida'is were not alone in resisting bullets with their shrouds. Allah's mercy was not absent, nor was a compassionate hand missing in embracing the cause and its victims. Wherever the Epic of Al-Fida’ unfolded, the spirit of Martyr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was present.
Martyr Abdollahian’s stances bore witness to how his soul carried the fervor of Al-Fida’ and the blood of its martyrs. On August 22, 2016, while receiving the Chinese ambassador in Tehran, he stated that the Bahraini government’s revocation of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim’s citizenship was an utterly inhumane measure.
In every phase and stance, Abdollahian never forgot to raise the issue of Ayatollah Qassim and remind others of it. On March 12, 2017, he said that the Bahraini government must realize it cannot bear the consequences of revoking his citizenship, describing it as an unwise move. On another occasion, he called this step "shameless," adding that if the Bahraini government did not learn from history and persisted in repeating its mistakes, harm would undoubtedly befall it.
On September 15, 2016, Abdollahian stated that Ayatollah Qassim did not belong solely to Bahrainis but was a scholar for the entire Islamic Ummah, warning that his trial would have dire consequences for the Bahraini regime. He advised Bahrain not to be swayed by "Saudi's" schemes.
In a tweet on November 27, 2017, he called on the United Nations to take serious note of systematic human rights violations.
Similarly, on June 17, 2018, in a previous tweet, he highlighted the deteriorating health of Ayatollah Qassim, warning the Al Khalifa regime against persisting in its military siege on Sheikh Qassim and depriving him of his right to life. He held the Al Khalifa regime directly responsible for this anti-human rights situation.
Like the free men who stood steadfast, struggling and defending in front of Ayatollah Qassim’s home, Martyr Abdollahian stood at all times—speaking, standing in solidarity, defending—as if he were one of us and we of him. As if the blood of our Fida'is had fallen into his hands and sprouted from them, so he carried it wherever he settled and sowed it wherever he went.
