Was growing up with trauma not enough? That the #govt just to prove a point, would not #transfer them out of #Valley .
@OfficeOfLGJandK should consider demands of #Protesting #PM_Pkg_Employees in black & white only

only giving false assurances and doing nothing on ground to resolve this issue.
We are still hopeful that political leaders can put some pressure on the administration to revoke this @SO194 order

Even after 30 years, #KashmiriPandits continue to face injustice unabated.
While DMRRR has said that #SO194 of 2020 doesn't apply to PM PKG recruitees, yet GAD has gone ahead & implementated order in the middle of recruitment. Now is this not discrimination?
Our fight continues!
@OfficeOfLGJandK GAD is making mockery of PM package candidates.

A case of institutional discrimination:
Under the PM package, new recruitees will be paid only BASIC during probation.
If killed on duty, the next of kin of slain KPs won't be provided any job, which is norm in J&K.

KPs to be provided 'temporary transit accommodations' in valley. Now is that 'temporary' fix the basis of permanent return?

Why are we protesting?
#SO194 curtails the salary of PM Package selectees for 2 yrs. Imagine the perils of living in the valley on such a meager salary in a hostile environment.
The posts are supernumerary & thus, the order doesn't even apply on us, yet it is thrusted upon us.
Urge @manojsinha_ to reconsider decision & revoke #SO194 of 2020.

Revisiting a poem by Faiz about what happens when a community(s) is oppressed. And KPs have a long history of remembering their oppressors.
@manojsinha_ , Take Note of our grievances.
3. Launching an e-mail campaign for Revocation of SO 194 (email to be sent to all Govt. officials)
4. Don't exaggerate or repeat points unnecessarily.
5. Keep your points short and succinct and join in advance for the meeting.

Not just this, the GAD also didn't reconsider that the posts under PM Package are effusive and supernumerary, and thus, the order doesn't apply on us.
We expect & request you to attend this session. All suggestions are welcome as each "Individual counts".

As we continue to fight for our rights, here is a leaf from Mahabharata..
In the assembly of Kauravas, Draupadi was mistreated. Dushan was trying to disrobe her and she was helpless. No one was ready to help her, not even her husbands.
