The long‑awaited #Filabusi Registry Complex, stalled since 2006 because of funding shortages, is now just a few touches away from completion. Thanks to the Government’s investment under the Independence Legacy Projects, the centre will be fully operational by 1 April, bringing essential civil‑document services back to the people of Matabeleland South.
This year’s National Independence Celebrations will be hosted in the province – a historic first – at the #Maphisa Business Centre under the theme “Zim @46: Unity and Development Towards Vision 2030.” The event is more than a ceremony; it marks a transformative leap in infrastructure, cutting the need for residents to travel to Gwanda or Bulawayo for paperwork and signalling a new era of accessible public services.
The Government is impressed by the progress of the Independence Legacy Project and confident that this milestone will leave an indelible mark on #Matabeleland South, driving unity, development, and a brighter future for all #Zimbabweans.
