I withdrew the balloon and introducer slightly, then did another inflation with my assistant inflating the ballon and with me providing back pressure on the balloon catheter to keep it from slipping forward into the cavity. Then, #fillgoals with 16 mL of cement injected.

The balloon inflates in the midline. Then reach #fillgoals with cement. Good fill of the fracture line, with a titch in the superior endplate and through the inferior endplate. Patient had complete resolution of her back pain for the first time in weeks. #MSKIRFTW

Here is the cement filling L4 and the balloon inflating in L5. These are also the final appearances of the #FillGoals. Patient had no pain afterwards! So satisfying. #MSKIRFTW

Injected cement into these two vertebral bodies. Unfortunately restoring the height of the T9 vertebral body disrupted the right side of T9 - quite a bit of cement spilled out, marring an otherwise pretty picture. But, still good height restoration. And, T7 is #FillGoals.

2 batches of cement: L3 and L4 with batch 1, then L5 with batch 2. #KyphonAssist to get a little more height restoration. L5 was tilted, making placement tough. Wish more cement got into the L4 fracture. #FillGoals

Finally, the L5 #kyphoplasty with good balloon fill and good cement fill, with over 10 mL of cement in the vertebral body. This is the new @Medtronic_Spine VuE bone cement - very easy to see. #FillGoals #MSKIR
