From what I have seen of @OpenAI presentation of #SORA today and what I know of #Midjourney’s video model they are currently training, as well as #FinalFrame AI v2, we filmmakers are going to have THE BEST year this year of any creative vertical! 2024 is the year of film/video AI, screw everything else. Marketing is just one area, quite literally every industry is pursuing creators who can use these tools and use them effectively. 2024 is also the year influencers who have no talent die out. No one is gonna care about content that doesn’t do anything for them intellectually or entertainment wise. If you are famous for absolutely nothing but being online, your entire business model is dying. They won’t all disappear, the large ones won’t for a little while, once they grow up some their audience will too and will lose interest. All that money is going to shift to actual creators creating for brands, media, etc. over then next few years, and it’s gonna be people who can create dynamic narratives in this space with these tools. Ai influencers are already destroying that market in the last 3 months. So all that traditional crap, out the window. AI creators are going to be the most sought out jobs relatively soon across a range of products and dev. I’m already being approached A LOT. I encourage you to get in this space now before it’s too late and start using these tools to figure out what you wanna push yourself to do with them!
All I can say is it is a beautiful and enlightening time to be an artist using these tools. I am so happy I am alive in the world right now and have so many years left (🤞) lol, because if we thought the last year was wild, wait for the next 40.. 👀💯🔥 AI is literally democratizing and advancing EVERYTHING. I know it sounds crazy but it can’t be understated how much humans advanced our evolution 10 fold in just the last year.
