And if you think I'm overreacting, I'll leave you with this: Can you name an organization that funds research looking for a "cure" for ADHD? Even with all the bad info about ADHD that's out there, who's looking for a "cure?" Think on that. 11/11 #FinanceTheSpectrum

To my knowledge I am not autistic. I do have ADHD. I don't want to speak over Autisics, but I do want to raise awareness of the issues they face. A number of my loved ones are autistic, and I want them all to have the best futures possible. 10/#FinanceTheSpectrum

I truly do not believe Trevor Moore's family is aware of this, as they probably wouldn't ask for donations for NEXT to Autism otherwise. They are grieving. Please do not attack them. But please consider donating directly to Autisics through the #FinanceTheSpectrum hashtag 9/

So, you know, eugenics. Autism is genetic. It has always existed. It isn't caused by vaccines, or chemicals in the environment, or any other number of reasons misinformed people spread without doing their research or actually listening to Autisics. #FinanceTheSpectrum 8/

For a broader overview of why Allistics should be wary of any organization funding research for a "cure:" There is no cure for autism. It is a neurodevelopmental condition present at birth. Any "cure" would only prevent autistic people being born. 7/ #FinanceTheSpectrum

Suplorting autistic people is good, right? It is, but not when it comes in the form of supporting organizations with no Austics on their boards, or organizations who fund research for a "cure." 5/ #FinanceTheSpectrum

I want to start out by saying I in no way want to or enjoy politicizing a public figure's death, so to friends, family, and fans of Trevor Moore, I am truly sorry. His loss is already being felt. However, the situation Austics face on a daily basis is dire #FinanceTheSpectrum 2/
