And that’s the issue, Dave — we agree on the what (more support for SEND, education, and all children), but clearly not on the how. We’ve said it repeatedly: putting VAT on children’s education is the wrong way. It hurts more than it helps. They need to #FindABetterWay.
But frankly, claiming we only care about SEND if we now campaign your way is both cynical and offensive. VAT harms all children — SEND, state, private — and this policy helps none of them.
You say you care about all kids — yet you’re fine with a policy that prices children out of their schools, shuts classrooms, and forces families into impossible choices. Yeah, Dave… that really shows us how much you care about 'everyone'.
