Yesterday white Watch attended a deliberate small fire in Warrington. Due to difficulty accessing the fire crews were on scene for 40 minutes making them unavailable for any other incidents. Please think of others before setting unnecessary fires #deliberatefire #fireintheopen π
This afternoon our Pump & Landie weβre called to a small #FireInTheOpen on #HazeleyHealth near the #TankRamp - fire caused by a #DisposableBBQ next to a substantial Camp, rubbish & Pizza Boxes also nearby. Worryingly evidence of #AerosolCans also involved - extremely dangerous!
Mobilised to a #FireInTheOpen in Greywell - where a local resident had been βburning the ditch, to clear itβ - 1 Hosereel Jet used to extinguish & 1 local resident educated on the hazards & dangers of fires of this type.
Mobilised to a #FireInTheOpen at the Blackbushe Kart Track, on approach a large plume of smoke seen, indicating an energised Fire. Quick make up for additional resources from @fleet04 & @Yateley14 - @BBSAirport crews also in attendance & assisted with the initial knock back.
Please remember if you are having a bonfire to make sure it's attended at all times.
We attended this bonfire but nobody was present so had to extinguish it, we did get to use the new misting lance which proved very effective.
