#firstfud 😂 a user’s default username is literally their Hedera address. That should say a lot. I’ll share more about exactly how we’re building on Hedera in a video. As a social platform, we’ve realized we can’t be in just one “tribe.” If we really want to build a big community, we have to be open to more people. And in Web3, that means being multichain. If you can pull it off, that’s the way. As for our discussions with @HederaFndn, they haven’t led anywhere meaningful yet. I even went as far as having an in-person meeting with them. Although this is unfortunate news, we’re still building on Hedera. Maybe we’ll rekindle things down the line.. who knows ;) Check out @web_punk to see what we’ve been building so far. In web3, Foundations for public networks (the L1) provide an important consumer protection function. Their coverage of a project affects a project's perceived legitimacy. If you legitimize a project like @AEL and that project sells domains to your ecosystem for $1000, $10,000 (depending on character length more or less) and then turns around and launches a literal pumpfun token, you have failed in your consumer protection function. @HederaFndn please investigate whether employees with personal connections to these projects have benefitted from giving these projects coverage or whether their use of official channels to elevate projects with no official relationship to the foundation (over the course of years) was in-line with the review and approval standard operating procedures for social media amplification? I assume there is a review and due diligence process and that it's not just whatever the employees want to post about, right? They didn't launch their "digital SocialFi platform on Hedera--"they sold domain names on Hedera. Then they launched their token on Solana. How does this project get such substantial earned media coverage?
