#FirstFridayFavorite Beverley Santos, one of wonderful front desk staff, chose this wooden bow tie from our Shop as her favorite piece at the museum. It reminds her of her father, who always used to wear a bow tie when he played bass at the Cape-Verdean Social Club in Waterbury.

Nov. #FirstFridayFavorite is from John Avignone, our development consultant. It is the "Aquarius" by Sessions Clock Co, Forestville, CT (c.1954). Its beach theme reminds him of his summers in Rhode Island. It was displayed on John’s mantel during our 2018 Mantels for the Season.
