10 years ago today, the @FEC asked if digital election ads should be more transparent. Tens of thousands of people and orgs said emphatically yes. A decade later, the FEC has ignored them all, and done nothing.
#SuperPACs cannot accept money from government contractors. The ban helps ensure that taxpayer-funded federal contracts are not for sale. While this outcome is a start, it's imperative to #FixTheFEC so that it can better enforce current campaign finance laws.
