So, lying @spoftak is lying again in his letter to our U.S. Senators, claiming that the Orange Line is or will be back to its “full speed” of 25 MPH from North Station to Community College… except that its design speed on that segment is 40 MPH! #FixTheMBTA #FirePoftak
There's some goalpost shifting going on here, and it's _really_ important that advocates not let that happen. Eg: North Station-Community College was good for 40mph in 2001. Now 25 is supposedly as good as it gets. At the very least, riders deserve explanation for the change.
