Throwing it back to the #FlowFreely25 campaign — the Menstrual Hygiene Day activation that reminded us all that dignity, health, and education should never be interrupted by a period. Period poverty and stigma should not be a determinant for a young girl’s progression in life.
From school outreaches and safe space dialogues to pad drives and myth-busting sessions, having men at the fore front, we stood with girls and young women to say: Periods without barriers.

No one should have to choose between a meal and a pad. But for many girls and women, that’s the harsh reality of period poverty.
Without access to sanitary products, they miss school, miss work, and miss opportunities, simply because of a natural body process.
Periods shouldn’t hold anyone back. It’s time to make menstrual products affordable, accessible, and stigma-free.

Come to think of it, why should I first look around for where to tuck my pad before heading to the washroom in fear that someone is watching me?
As females, periods are part of us. Let us not shy away but rather embrace it.

On average, a girl needs at least 5⃣ to🔟 pads per period.
Without access to this, managing menstruation becomes stressful, hard, and very unsafe because some girls turn to tissue, old rags or even newspapers.
We can work on this!
