#XAUUSD Daily Outlook | 15 Sep 2026 #Gold remains short-term bearish/neutral around $4,300 as a stronger USD, Treasury yields near/above 5%, rising oil prices and elevated Fed-hike expectations continue to pressure XAUUSD, despite geopolitical safe-haven demand and persistent Asian/central-bank buying. Technically, $4,287 is the key downside pivot: holding it can trigger a recovery toward $4,327 → $4,375–$4,405, while a decisive break below $4,287 opens $4,253 → $4,244 → $4,211. On the upside, a confirmed H1/H2 close above $4,400 would weaken the bearish structure, while $4,445–$4,450 is the major breakout zone, potentially targeting $4,500 → $4,512 → $4,580. For MT5, the preferred strategy is to sell rallies into $4,305–$4,327 or, preferably, $4,375–$4,405 after bearish confirmation, rather than chasing shorts at support. The major catalyst is the Fed decision and guidance on 16 September, with the market currently pricing roughly a 93% chance of a 25-bp hike. Bias: 🔴 Bearish below $4,400 🟢 Bullish above $4,450 Key support: $4,287 → $4,253 → $4,244 Key resistance: $4,327 → $4,375–$4,405 → $4,445–$4,450 Strategy: Sell rejection; buy only after confirmed breakout.

The #Fed #FMOC may send the $USD/#DXY higher today, or not but certain factors point to the former, but we never really know who the market will react to news. Even if higher, there's room for some up and down if wave (4) but important take right now is we only have 3 waves up.

Yesterday I posted the Daily #DXY chart as we are getting closer to #Powell and the #FMOC decision. A cut seems to be in the pocket but how much? and is the $USD ready for a dive or even a recovery and surge to new highs? I think the answer is hidden in the #US10Y #US10Yr yield and can probably be narrowed in to if the ongoing correction completes as a triangle or takes a deeper turn first? The dividing lines and tip towards the latter goes at 3.86%

#DXY ahead of #FOMC tomorrow, I'm waiting to see if wave (4) will be made with a triangle of if it's already done with some sort of running flat. Dividing line goes at 96.377 so just about 30 points away, but even if it's broken ahead of the #FED we could still see a bump ahead of it. In any case, I think we will se mid 94 or lower before a stronger recover alt reversal.
