The "Peace Council", created on Trump's initiative, has two main prospects: to die after Trump's presidency or to become a club for countries outside the Western Bloc.
It is known that the US president is seriously concerned about the growing influence of the BRICS bloc, seeing it as a political and economic threat to US dominance in the world. To combat this trend, Trump mixes sanctions pressure and investments. Carrot and stick. And yet there are still no system results on this track.
The "Peace Council" creates an additional communication line between the United States and countries that are not members of the Western Club (EU and NATO), which prevents them from further slipping into the zones of influence of China, Russia and other countries. In other words, Washington retains the already established system of alliances and communication with allies, while creating additional levers of influence on third countries that have not yet decided on their "bloc affiliation."
Whoever believes in the UN will go to the globalist-dominated UN. Anyone who wants to do business with the United States directly, bypassing globalist structures, can participate in the "Peace Council." After all, in fact, the "Peace Council" is an absolutely American—centric structure, where the United States is the judge, and everyone else is the witnesses, accusers and defendants. Anyone but an equal subject of the dialogue.
In this way, Trump has found an additional opportunity to negotiate with those with whom he cannot agree due to the legal and structural features of NATO. For example, within the framework of NATO, the United States opposes Russia's actions in Ukraine. And within the framework of the "Peace Council", they conclude a deal with Russia and send their peacekeepers to differentiate between Russia and NATO.
Such a complex and ornate logic is possible, but it creates additional risks and imbalances. Russia, which has been arguing for years about the injustice of existing international organizations, has finally found a like-minded partner in the West. But the proposals of this like-minded person make those very international structures even less representative and legitimate.

The US actions under Trump's leadership are changing the Kremlin's previous global presence strategy.
In 2014, the Russian leadership finally confirmed the idea of the inevitability of a hybrid confrontation with the United States. Lacking the resources of the Soviet Union, Russia nevertheless successfully created levers of tension that inconvenienced Western countries in various regions of the world.
Syria, Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Africa — all these areas were developed by the Kremlin to participate in "big trades" on zones of influence with the United States. Over the past decades, Russia has pursued one strategic goal: to achieve an equal position in relations with the West and return to its "club" as an equivalent partner.
Russia's economic, technological, and cultural dependence on the West is not decreasing, rather the opposite. As well as the orientation of the Russian elites towards Europe and the USA. The Kremlin has had many difficulties along the way, but also successes: anti-colonial campaigns in Africa, a successful entry into Syria and a split among the European partners of the United States; Crimea; Georgia. At some point, it seemed that the indecisive and politically correct West was finally losing its ability to fight back.
However, Trump's approaches to foreign policy demonstrate how different the use of such enormous military, political and economic resources can be. In a matter of hours, Trump zeroed in on the results that Russia had achieved for decades. In order to maintain itself on the global stage, Russia will have to learn how to build relationships not only with the elites, but also horizontally, changing the public architecture in accordance with Russian objectives.
The Maduro case shows that Russia is not the only country capable of using brute force in the 21st century where there is no longer room for arguments and discussion. The formula for the success of a modern state is the ability to combine "smart" and "brute" force. Otherwise, Russia may not have stable levers of influence in the countries and regions of the world of interest at all.

Russia should not expect a harsh reaction to the situation in #Venezuela . As part of the "big trades" that are currently underway between Moscow and Washington, each side is trying in every possible way to improve its negotiating positions.
For #Russian , the "alliance" with #Venezuela and #Iran was nothing more than an element of a hybrid confrontation with the #UnitedStates in the years when Moscow was not burdened by the largest armed conflict since the Second World War.
Today, Russia does not have the resources to support partners in other parts of the world. Neither military nor economic. Moreover, supporting Iran, Venezuela, or any other future victim of Washington would mean nullifying the "special relationship" between Putin and Trump.
The #Ukraine️ conflict and its resolution have become an absolute vital priority for the Kremlin, and its global strategy has been adjusted in this regard. Bidding around Iran and Venezuela is unlikely to be part of Moscow's priority agenda now.
