It was #ForeverFriendsofUganda's bucket collection at Edgeley Park yesterday afternoon. Thanks to #StockportCounty for welcoming us and to everybody involved for helping us to raise valuable funds for our Ugandan friends.
Then and Now at Bubebbere What a difference in 22 years! There was just one block with rough wooden frontage and rusted, leaking roof. Next - the same block today.
Now: a children’s home, school hall, more classrooms.
Giving hope to childen with nothing.

Great News. A message from James at Bulumbu:
"Water is no longer a problem at school and neighbouring homes."
To supplement the new well, repairs are being done to the guttering on the classrooms so that rainwater can be gathered in.

The gardens at both Bulumbu and Bubebbere are a fine example of how this can work - and, look how they are thriving.
Children help to feed themselves - better health from their own hands.
The Directors of Golden High school visited Wisdom Academy - Maganjo which is supported by #ForeverFriendsofUganda to check on their progress.

But most of all the generous County faithful who enabled us to raise £766 to help children in need.
It’s a big day for #ForeverFriendsofUganda at #stockportcounty on Saturday with our bucket collection in support of children who have nothing.

These 4 children received footwear for being kind and considerate.
Others were rewarded for smart appearance (even though they had no new clothes), hard work, and showing leadership.

GREAT NEWS Bulumbu Well Update
They've found water at a depth of 105 feet.
We have now sent the funds for the purchase of a pump.
#ForeverFriendsofUganda In a a big month for Ugandan children, primary school youngsters sat the Primary Leaving Exam to give them a chance to go to secondary school. S.6 students began A levels and the S.4s sat their O levels.
And ... Nursery children graduated into Primary 1.
#ForeverFriendsofUganda I have known Patience since she was in primary school, the daughter of a very poor family with no hope of a meaningful future. Her sponsors stayed with her and now, in her final university year, she is a potential student leader.
Well done Patience.
