If anyone in #Zhob possesses old artefacts, like coins, pictures, weapons, swords etc, kindly contact us. We shall keep it in the upcoming museum in #FortSandeman, by the name of the donor. This shall be a great contribution towards preserving the historical assets of Zhob.
This was a massive encroachment just at bedrock of the #FortSandeman. Alhamdulillah the encroachment is removed & land recaptured. This has turned into a colony with more than 50 persons living there, a working dairy form and luggage that took more than 20 trucks to transport.
Thankful to Mr. Saif Faqir sb of #FaqirKhana museum for visiting #FortSandeman and acknowledging the restoration work. He has agreed in helping us design the museum. Fakir Khana museum is the oldest and the largest private museum of Pakistan.
Found this 1945 half penny coin from the debris during the restoration works at the #FortSandeman, #Zhob. There shall be some exciting things in the museum, InshaAllah.

#ExploringZhob The historical name of #Zhob was #Appozai, named after the appozai tribe. After arrival of Robert Sandeman and the occupation of British the place was known as #FortSandeman, it was a cantonment. In 1970s then, Mr. Bhutto changed its name to Zhob, streams of water.
