@OrganizedIsland I think best practice to constantly let your children know they have a voice. It’s important for them to be heard and understood. Starting this practice at home can help them navigate in the world. #fourmamasChat
@mylifesabeach @ozofsalt @NaturalHighBlog Good night ladies! Always fun chatting with you all! #FourMamasChat
Well it seems no matter what stage your kid(s) is at communicating is no easy task but we got this mommas. Thank you for joining @ozofsalt, @OrganizedIsland, @NaturalHighBlog and myself for another #fourmamaschat! Be sure to follow us all and we will catch on the chat.
There is no doubt that communication is so important when it comes to our kids. The earlier that open communication is encoraged the better! Before we wrap up, does anyone else have any other questions or thoughts they would like to share? #FourMamasChat
It’s crazy how some days communicating with my kids can completely fill me up and other days it sucks me of all my energy. #fourmamaschat #communicationiskey
Its also important for me to speak with him face to face more times then not to get down on his level. No one wants someone standing over them talking to them. These are things I think of as an adult and can’t justify doing it to my sons. #FourMamasChat
@angelstar2 @mylifesabeach @ozofsalt @OrganizedIsland I’ve always said we are born completely whole then as we grow the influences around us can either strengthen us or bring us down...then one day we are adults wondering what happened. I want to change this narrative with my boys #FourMamasChat
@mylifesabeach @ozofsalt @NaturalHighBlog To be open to their opinion (esp. when they are older), because they will make some good points. #fourmamaschat
@mylifesabeach @ozofsalt @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland The importance of speaking about myself with love. My son turned 4 yesterday and he loves himself so much and celebrates himself. It made me wonder when did we stop speaking of our strengths as if all we do is awesome , now I try to speak of myself with care. #FourMamasChat
@OrganizedIsland Take deep breaths and start again if either one of us are getting frustrated and actually try to listen to what my child is saying instead of just hearing him tell me stuff. It’s hard to just “LISTEN” when you hear them all day!
@AHWhite1 @RottenKandee @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland @ozofsalt I can’t forgive out which is the worst...my sassy 4 year old, know it all 8 year old, or eye rolling 13 year old. The little one is still an angel because he can’t talk yet. 😜 #fourmamaschat
Having 4 kids I have learned a lot from them about communication. What have you guys learned from your kids? #fourmamaschat @ozofsalt @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland
LOL Threenager! #FourMamasChat
@mylifesabeach @RottenKandee @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland @ozofsalt I have a threenager, I’m not on that level as you but I can sympathize. Lol
@AHWhite1 @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland @ozofsalt Yes!!! Truth! No time for bull💩. #fourmamaschat
What is something you have done to improve communicating with your child? #FourMamasChat
@RottenKandee @NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland @ozofsalt I thought I had the patience thing down and then along came this #teenstage. 😩 #fourmamaschat
@NaturalHighBlog @OrganizedIsland @ozofsalt I speak to my peers a whole lot less since having kids. 😂😂😂😂😭 #fourmamaschat
@ozofsalt I also make my teen retract and retry...apologize for what he said and restate it in a more respectful way. #fourmamaschat
@NaturalHighBlog @mylifesabeach @ozofsalt I think it is important to communicate with respect to kids and adults. Kindness starts at home. #FourMamasChat
