Hopefully there is something to get done. I would assume there is no way they change to full online classes like the rest of us, it would take more then a day to do that.

Anyone else get the email from YRDSB telling parents to keep their kids home on Oct 15? So they can give training to their staff on hybrid.

Imagine doing this all day for 190+ days.
Everything takes 10x as long which means Ss are getting 10x LESS support from the #onted educator.

So...apparently my wife has lunch duty DURING her class. She has to leave and do lunch duty. All week. Modified semester hijinx. This is insanity! 🤦♂️ #OntEd
Every single day! Lesson disrupted again. Online students shut out of class. In person students left waiting for their online peers to join them. The two groups were supposed to do a lab together in real time. #HybridHurtsKids @PeelSchools
Thank goodness there was nothing more hazardous than vinegar and iodine involved, because to be honest, I couldn’t give the in person students much attention while providing this accommodation for the online students. ☹️

The class had a conversation, through the school provided mic the teacher had I couldn’t hear a word they were saying so the few of us online just kinda sat there, they were laughing too so at least they had fun #onted #fracturedlearning #Isolation
So sad that some online students in the fractured learning model are the only ones online in their class. This doesn't make the students feel part of the school. They feel excluded. Why they couldn't do a family of schools, I have no clue. @YRDSB

@ohayoodesu Essentially, you can solve individual #FracturedLearning problems, like not having two monitors, but they almost always bring a new problem up.
There is no amount of creativity that can solve all the problems with this method. Especially without funding.
