As part of the preparations, I held an engagement with #FredKinene, the Canada NRM Chapter Chairperson, to discuss matters as regards holding a successful #NRMSymposium for this year. The high-profile initiative will focus on strategies to unite the #DiasporaCommunity behind Uganda's development agenda. It will also spotlight opportunities in trade, investment, tourism, and remittance growth to fuel Uganda economic transformation. In the same breath, I urge Ugandans in the #Diaspora to support His Excellency President Museveni, and NRM candidates in the 2026 general elections. #spadiaspora #AmbAbbeyWalusimbi

Dear NRM Diaspora comrades, On behalf of the #SouthAfrica & #Canada NRM Chapters, headed by, Mr. #IsmaLuzige, & Mr. #FredKinene, respectively, I deeply take this opportunity, to congratulate each one of us on the successful completion of the #6THSouthAfricaNRMSymposium, and #CanadaNRMChapterSymposium2024, that climaxed the celebration of our President’s life achievements, and contributions to our motherland. Special thanks to both Rt. Hon. @TodwongR, and the 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. @Rukianakadama, who ably mobilized and represented the Secretariat & Government’s crucial role, during the pre and post preparation of both events in #SouthAfrica & #Canada, respectively. You exhibited very powerful team spirit; exuding maturity, unity and patriotism, which is not only needed in Diaspora affairs, but also back home in party alignment. We can’t thank enough our beloved President, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for his continued visionary leadership and support. The recommendations and declarations of both conferences/symposiums if well implemented, will go a long way in creating a solid united party, cherished by all Ugandans. We shall definitely update you on other upcoming Diaspora activities, that need your valuable support and wisdom. We surely apologise for any short comings if any, and pledge to keep priotizing national goals, & services for our people. I thank you. #spadiaspora #AmbAbbeyWalusimbi
