Vastaanotin Freedom Housen Leadership-palkinnon tänään Presidentinlinnassa, ja kävin mielenkiintoisen keskustelun toimitusjohtaja Jamie Flyn kanssa.   Palkinto myönnettiin keväällä Suomelle johdonmukaisesta johtajuudesta ja työstä vapauden, demokratian ja ihmisoikeuksien puolustamisessa.   Olen otettu tunnustuksesta. Meille on suuri kunnia saada se arvostetulta järjestöltä, joka on tehnyt pitkäjänteistä työtä vapauden ja demokratian edistämiseksi maailmassa.

Today August 23 2026, BRGIE delegates visited the Rock Chapel Helsinki, a video is made Inside the underground of the rock chapel, in 1967 during the Biafra war, they started the construction of the Rock chapel, the Christian youths in Finland protested that they should send the money for the construction to the Biafran children dying in millions instead and during that protest the name Biafra was written on the rocks underground and outside the building, the one outside is no more but they left the Biafra inscription underground as u can see in the video to retain that history, normally they do not allow people to go there but on hearing we are Biafrans they made an exception to show us the underground

She was eight years old the first time she hid her cross. Juliana Taimoorazy was six when the Islamic Republic took over Iran, and by eight she was in a hijab with her cross hidden under her clothes. There were 50,000 Assyrians in Iran back then and she says barely 5,000 are left now. In Iraq it’s gone from a million and a half to about a hundred thousand. Eight people in her own family were killed.

Oby Ogbodo is Biafran. She's talking about what happened to her community, and almost nobody outside it has heard any of it. There's no record of what Biafrans have lost. No count of the dead, no inquiry, nothing written down anywhere. Families bury people quietly and it never reaches the rest of us, so the next attack lands like the first one.
