On December 1st we announced that Ryan O'Neill would be our newest Executive Director after working the past year as the Special Projects Coordinator. We are excited about the natural transition into his new role and the vision he will bring to the organization.

#FunTeamFriday this week wants to showcase the contributions of FunTeam @dinosaurvalley Hockey volunteer Brad LeDrew (pictured left). He has been with the program for 5 seasons as a "3rd string motivational coach" (his words!) and playing with the Senior Avalanche FunTeam.
This week on #FunTeamFriday we wanted to spotlight one of our Board members.
Hugh O'Neill is one of our newest members and also plays for the @EdmontonEsks! With the @CFL season underway we thought it was appropriate to share his story. Go Esks go!

Meyokumin Elementary School in Millwoods used their honorarium to host a 2 day in-service to participate in Zumba and POUND classes.

This is their third year running the program and last year they had 53 participants ranging from Grade 2-7.
The Young Leaders at @IREC1 make it a routine to high 5 all of their participants after each session.
