Slowly but surely i am getting closer to the end of section two of the book. Notice how Annabelle is kept being sabotaged by crabs. Why do the crabs do this to her?

Sometimes i draw a real monsters. The more and more i draw these, the more sense the need of good gesture makes. Even when i try really hard to enhance to proportions or pose, i keep normalizing the figures. Gesture is important. LOOMIS!

It is kinda a shame that hats went out of fashion. They are goofy and can easily add character to the person. Not to mention they keep your head warm and mask your baldness.

I haven't drawn for a few days, doing other stuff. Man, it feels like all art gains are gone. And looking at these fills me with dread and increases doubts about LOOMIS being good at all as learning resource.

Just Play? Sounds familiar... Just draw. Just suffer. I really dont know what to think about this section of the book: photos of awkward wooden figure and: just draw it. What if i draw it wrong? Why did the Loomis not include examples?
