"Customizability and personalization will also be very important. People want very different things out of GPT-4. Different styles, different sets of assumptions. We will make all that possible. And also, the ability to have it use your own data. So the ability to know about you, your email, your calendar, how you like appointments booked, connected to outside data sources..." This quote from Sam Altman sums up what I believe is going to drive the next wave of adoption. I've spoken to hundreds of individuals and business owners in the last year about AI. And it has become very clear to me that the thing holding most people back from using it regularly is that they just couldn't get ChatGPT to generate outputs that were 'them'. "I tried it, but its responses aren't very good" "It sounds like a robot" "Well, you can't use it for anything important" When people are able to reliably generate text, images and video that are 'them,' there is no turning back. And I've got a feeling that turning point is sooner than we think.
