When we talk about mining as a sunrise or sunset industry, we will have to refer to its relation to the people. Over the years in the industry, my view is that, it has failed to relate to people in way that makes it a sunrise industry. #FutureOfSAMining
Half the time when we talk about mining we talk about rocks & money. My understanding over the years of my involvement in mining is that, mining is about people - workers/communities. Once it is not about people, it collapses. It won't work #FutureOfSAMining
