FINAL #GACup3/14U: Georgia Eclipse 2030 - 45 HoopAtlanta Black - 30 This 8th grade group played with great energy and tenacity on the defensive end, coming up with multiple steals and consistently disrupting the offense throughout the game. Their effort and activity set the tone early and carried all night long. Two players in particular, Omari Jennings & Ben Koblan, stood out for their relentless hustle and rebounding presence, battling on the glass and giving their team extra possessions on both ends. Their effort, physicality, and willingness to do the dirty work helped anchor the team’s defensive identity from start to finish.

FINAL #GACup3/17U: @hoopatlanta_ Orange - 65 Georgia Havoc - 50 Jumping out to a 13-0 start to the game, HoopAtlanta was able to keep their distance from a physical Havoc team that wouldn’t back down. The trio of Ben Sprague, Zach Yimtatu, & Collin Hendrix were great moving the ball around to teammates & scoring when they received opportunities. For the Havoc, Devin Strowbridge of @TheLump_MBB kept them in the game with his outside shooting & relentless effort on both sides of the ball.

FINAL #GACup3/14U: @hoopatlanta_ Orange - 42 Devin Butts Elite - 40 After falling behind to a talented DBE team, Chase Mills hits a GW 3pt FG in the closing seconds to take home the W. For DBE, Cruz Chapman was automatic from the outside as he connected on 6 3pt FG’s. Trenton Darby was great as well as he scored in a multitude of ways & helped DBE consistently execute in the half-court. Great battle between 2 teams that’ll be sure to be a threat to win the Cup on Sunday.

FINAL #GaCup3/15u: The Duluth Boyz 2030 - 53 SOS Elite - 52 Competitive back & forth battle between these 2 squads with the Duluth 8th Grade group pulling out the win playing up a division. Miles Sharpless & Roderick Williams led the way for Duluth & both scored in a variety of ways. Sharpless looks like a future intriguing prospect with good size, motor & shooting. Initiates contact well on the offensive end and is strong as the rim. For SOS, Landon McCoy stood out scoring well at the rim in transition and pushing the pace in the battle. They moved the ball well & will be a test for their next opponents tomorrow.
