The FTSE 100 closed higher on Friday, rounding off a positive week for London equities as unexpectedly weak US employment data reduced expectations for further Federal Reserve interest rate increases.
London’s blue-chip index gained 33.20 points, or 0.3%, to 10,901.09, while the FTSE 250 climbed 0.7% to a record closing high of 24,854.86. The AIM All-Share advanced 1.1% to 795.89. Almost reached 67p today, that makes more sense. I can see it above 69p next week if the oil holds.
