In 2002, @NCgoldenLEAF awarded a grant to @NashCC in collaboration w/ 3 major employers of lineman to support its electric lineman technology degree program. According to @NashCC officials, it is the only lineman degree program in the state.

Golden LEAF Board & Staff attended Friday's groundbreaking of the @NC_PSI building @NCStateCALS @NCState. Golden LEAF has provided $48M toward the project that will provide infrastructure for research & development of tools to strengthen rural NC agriculture.

In 2014, @NCgoldenLEAF awarded a $1M grant to @ECSU to enhance its Aviation Science Program. Dir. of Programs/ Program Admin Terri Adou-Dy & @JasonRochelle11 were in the area Tuesday. The program is increasing enrollment & placing students in #aviation #jobs!

This summer, Year 3 @NCgoldenLEAF Scholars worked on serving their #rural communities. Groups of 4 supported mental health 4 kids, created a nonperishable food box, connected communities to civic engagement, provided kids in crisis w/ comfort kits etc.
