Isn’t it peculiar?
You build worlds, and the first visitors?
Paddlers. Selling you more doors.
Not players. Not dreamers. Just promises wrapped in glitter.
Maybe the tea’s bitter today… or maybe that’s just me🎩

We collaborate with creators who respect children’s attention and comfort. FF3 is exactly that.

As a systems designer, one of my biggest dilemmas in roguelikes:
➡️ How random is too random?
➡️ When does "fair RNG" become boring?
I’d love to hear how other devs approach balance in chaos.

Got hooked on Farm Simulator 2022 recently – didn’t expect to! It’s got that addicting loop down. But the dev in me keeps thinking, 'If I were behind the wheel of development, I’d...' 🚜💭 Do you get these moments too? #GameDevThoughts #GamerLife
Apparently tweaking your AI a bit can create completely new enemy types 🧐 #gamedevthoughts
For anyone commenting on the fact that @Wizards_DnD druids can't turn into owlbears... you're right. But what a great promo item would be a free pdf of five new Feats that make the movie characters' uniqueness rules-friendly, eh? #gamedevthoughts #gamedesigner #DnDMovie #DnD
Do you think #theQueen would be an ace space pilot in another timeline?
What would her ship be called?

Started playing the new Kirby game and instantly got bored at the opening cutscene and skipped it. “I don’t care! I just want to play the game!” It made me think. I don’t like cutscenes in games that much. I want to find out about the world through experiencing #gamedevthoughts
Do you ever just sit in your chair..and be like damn..will this game finish itself😂 #gamedevthoughts #gamedeveloper #IndieGameDev

I wonder if I can find a publisher for my #luminouslabyrinth game?
Is it unique enough?
Would someone actually want to help my send this game out into the world?

Assuming reality is a simulation, if you're far enough away from someone else, do you eventually just get completely LOD-ded out of existence?
Chats with @deedlite have me all existential now. #gamedevthoughts
Finally able to get into the weeds of Tabletopia game creation. A lot of designers on twitter are doing playtesting on TTS but I think that accessibility-wise, Tabletopia is better for anyone to playtest your game: there's no $20 entrance fee #GameDevThoughts #boardgamedev
The rain on my car froze tonight and now it looks like it has a normal map where nothing moves #glitchinthematrix #gamedevthoughts
Some #prototyping. Hand drawn assets. Tap and hold to sprint. I have no idea what to do with this #prototype. Any ideas? Feedback? #gamedesign #mobilegamedesign #unity3d #madewithunity #indiedev #gamedev #indiegamedev #unity #askgamedev #gamedevthoughts #gameprototype
Every once in a while I think about how #SushiGo components are 80% art, 19% quality card stock and 1% numbers like "3 of this=10" and "2 of this=5". Biggest inspiration for material quality, imo. #gamedevthoughts
The stop animation for our game's main character looks amazing!!! Couldn't have done it without @ZacEmer 's origami skills and @Picnic44 's photoshop skills!

I said it first: us lawyers are like speedbumps. We may cause things in dev to be slower and more cautious, but you're also less likely to crash and burn due to speeding because we curbed the risk. 👌 #gamedevthoughts
Sometimes I feel that when I tell peers/people that I work at a mobile games studio I get looked down on as if I’m less of an artist than those at a triple A studio. #gdc #gamedevthoughts
