@ZackPolanski @Thelma_DWalker Personally painful. My MP @OliverRyanUK referred (in derogatory manner) to families like mine as ‘trots’ In run up to #GE17 & #GE19, my family gave so many hours to Burnley’s @UKLabour campaign

@JamesEFoster @owenjonesjourno He did his bit to stop JC winning the #GE17 - his name was thrown in our faces when we were defending JC on social media against accusations and smears: “Even Owen Jones has deserted him” He’s not as bad as Paul Mason, but he’s that kind of grifter, imo

8 years ago today, introducing @AngelaRayner with a speech on education cuts aged 12 at a rally outside leamington town hall, less than 2 weeks later we beat the tory and got @MattWestern_ elected in #GE17. angela has been and always will be my biggest political inspiration. 🌹

@SuzieWo20886208 @BurstonSteven Jeremy Corbyn was a democratic socialist. They destroyed him. Had he not been ripped apart by the client media (#MSM) and cutthroats within #GE17 would have been very different. He would have won a landslide and this country would be a much better place today

@DerbyChrisW My feelings of hope & anticipation during the JC years when you and other good leftwing MPs were in the shadow cabinet turned to despair when this barrel chested Tory, #starmer with a Napoleon Complex sneaked in on 30% of the vote. They stole #GE17 from us 😡

@simonmaginn Yes, totally this. @uklabour were in pole position in both #GE17 and #GE19 - rightwing MPs in particular campaigned against their own Party winning an election and enabled the Tories. #IsraelFirst eh, @keir_starmer @emilythornberry @davidlammy @_lfi? Israel controls UK politics.
