#Kiribati is a vast archipelago in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, and is composed of three large groups of islands: #GilbertIslands, #PhoenixIslands and #LineIslands. The inhabited islands of Kiribati are managed by local governments (Councils), most of which are located in the Gilbert Islands. Football in Kiribati is managed by the @kirifootball: the most important tournament at a national level is the Te Runga, a multi-sport tournament that involves the representatives of all the Councils and which takes place every 4 years.
While at a local level, there are football tournaments that have an irregular cadence and are generally played in the #Tarawa atoll at the Betio Sport Complex, with teams of entities, companies, or local representatives.
