#ICCT #GlobalAutomakerRating 2025, 22 largest automakers, weight-adjusted BEV consumption:
1. #TataMotors — 106 Wh/km
2. #Mahindra — 113 Wh/km Fleet average — 131 Wh/km
#Tesla 3rd, #BYD 4th on this metric.
Lower Wh/km means less electricity per kilometre. Not the overall transition score — Tesla and BYD still lead that. On pure efficiency, Indian EVs are the most frugal in the set.

Overall scores still tell a different story: Tesla 83, BYD 72, #Tata 33 (15th), #Mahindra 30 (17th, first year in the rating). Efficiency is one of ten metrics.
