🌍 The Power of Storytelling for Climate Justice in Africa, Fueled by Global Teen Leader Alumni! 🌍 Recently, we had the honor to support the first GTL Alumni-led gathering from our new #GlobalCollabFund Initiative! Spearheaded by @OluwaseyiMoejoh, @joshgseyi and @nifemibuilder, the #OurAfricanClimateStory workshop took place during #AfricaClimateWeek and trained more than 31 Climate Activists from 14 African Countries on the fundamentals of climate storytelling. “I call this project 'extraordinary' because that's precisely what it is. Our goal is to empower young climate activists across Africa, who have been historically marginalized, with the storytelling skills they need to amplify their stories of injustice and inspiration, mobilizing REAL URGENT ACTION to create a sustainable future for Africa.” — @oluwaseyimoejoh “Having personally witnessed the power of good storytelling inspiring climate action (that's literally the majority of our work at @learnblueglobal), this workshop was a must-host to share my experience with these activists and share ways they could replicate it to make change.” — @joshgseyi “We want to help Africans learn how to tell their stories as a way to mobilize grassroots activities and influence policies for a sustainable future.
