Through the Volunteer Beach Profile Monitoring Program, the Coastal Program hits the beach each month to measure the contour (slope) of the beach. Data collected is used to help understand patterns of sand erosion and accretion over time. #GoCoPro @NHSeaGrant @ccom_jhc

Volunteers are vital ocean stewards. Last year 3,448 volunteers removed 10,492 pounds of trash from NH’s beaches and Great Bay. The Coastal Program supports cleanups through a grant to the Blue Ocean Society.
