7th-grade STEM students had to construct a candy grabbing device to clean up a candy spill. With limited supplies, students had to build and operate their machines! What a sweet way to connect this lesson to the careers of Orthotists and Prosthetists! 🍬 #GoColtsRH
🌟Last week, 7th-grade STEM students finished up their Spark Challenge by creating something that represents their "Spark" using the 3D Pens! Sparks represent something we're passionate about. All the designs were extremely impressive! #GoColtsRH
8th-grade STEM students spent last week learning about the environmental effects of oil spills and the importance of successful clean-up! Students then created their own methods to try to collect as much oil as possible. They ended up having a lot of success! 🌳🧪 #GoColtsRH

Last week, students in Mrs. Haught’s class had to identify their “spark.” Their spark could be anything they are passionate about or love to do. Once they identified their spark, students created a 3D model using our laser engraver to represent it. #GoColtsRH
