Did We Turn the Super Bowl Into Another Battlefield Because We Forgot What Freedom Looks Like?
#GoRight with Peter Boykin
https://t.co/Ovko22JuUt
Somewhere along the way, America stopped being comfortable with disagreement.
We used to argue, debate, laugh, and keep watching the same game together. Now we pre-judge, pre-react, and pre-outrage before the lights even come on. The Super Bowl halftime show was supposed to be entertainment. Instead, it became another ideological battlefield long before the first note was played.
And that says more about us than it does about Bad Bunny.
A simple truth needs to be said. You can strongly disagree with someone’s political views while still defending their right to speak, perform, and express their culture. That is not weakness. That is liberty.
As a Constitutionalist for Liberty, I may disagree with Bad Bunny on issues like ICE or immigration policy. Many Americans do. But freedom was never designed to protect only voices we personally agree with. The First Amendment exists precisely because we will encounter ideas and perspectives that challenge us.
Freedom is not agreement. Freedom is consistency.
What happened around this halftime show revealed something deeper. Millions reacted to predictions instead of reality. Memes spread faster than facts. Some critics chose alternative halftime streams instead of watching the performance itself, yet still joined the outrage as if they had experienced it firsthand.
That is not criticism. That is tribalism.
Shared cultural moments have become loyalty tests. Instead of asking whether something was creative or meaningful, people ask whether it aligns with their political identity. When curiosity disappears, unity follows.
Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Puerto Ricans are American citizens. Their culture is American culture whether it fits your personal taste or not. Rejecting cultural expression simply because it feels unfamiliar or politically uncomfortable narrows our understanding of what America is supposed to be.
A confident nation does not fear cultural expression. A confident nation debates it, engages with it, and grows stronger because of it.
The real tragedy is not that people loved or hated the halftime show. Art has always divided audiences. The real tragedy is that Americans increasingly cannot experience anything together without turning it into a battlefield.
We have forgotten how to disagree without declaring war. We have forgotten how to say, “That was not for me,” without demanding that it disappear. We have forgotten that liberty means coexistence, not conformity.
The Super Bowl once stood as one of the last shared national experiences where Americans across political lines could feel connected, even while disagreeing. When even halftime becomes symbolic warfare, it signals something deeper than cultural controversy. It signals a loss of perspective.
America did not lose its ability to disagree.
America lost its ability to be comfortable with disagreement.
Memes replaced reality. Predictions replaced observation. Political labels replaced curiosity. People chose not to watch, not to listen, not to engage, yet still claimed certainty. Political identity became more important than shared experience.
That should concern anyone who believes in liberty.
Freedom means hearing things you do not like. Seeing things you would not choose. Sharing space with people who think differently than you do. Liberty was never about everyone agreeing. Liberty was about learning how to stand together anyway.
Maybe the real question was never whether the halftime show represented America.
Maybe the real question is whether Americans still remember how to live with freedom.
Because if we cannot rediscover that, the greatest loss will not be a halftime performance.
It will be the shared culture that once made this country feel united even when we disagreed.

Is America running out of time for a true grand bargain, or are we already playing past the whistle?
In this episode of #GoRight with Peter Boykin, the Constitutionalist for Liberty breaks down the growing divide between ideology and liberty, the dangers of moral absolutism on both sides, and why a Constitutional Republic only survives when persuasion matters more than power. A bold commentary on free speech, cultural conflict, political overreach, and the forgotten art of negotiation that once held America together.

Are Governments Trying to Redefine Rights by Renaming the Thing People Use?
#GoRight with Peter Boykin Commentary
This case is not just a gun fight. It is a language fight.
The oldest trick in politics is to change the label and claim the Constitution no longer applies. If you can call something uniquely dangerous, you can treat it as an exception. If you can treat it as an exception, you can turn a right into a privilege. And once it is a privilege, it can be approved, denied, delayed, or revoked.
The Second Amendment either protects arms commonly owned for lawful purposes, or it does not. If it does, then a registration system cannot be used as a backdoor ban by refusing to issue registration for the most common models.
D.C. will argue public safety. Many Americans will sympathize with that instinct because violence is real and communities are tired. But constitutional rights were not written to disappear when life gets scary. They were written because life gets scary.
The question is whether the district’s policy is honest regulation or whether it is prohibition by paperwork.
A Constitutional Republic survives when government has to prove its authority, not when citizens have to beg for permission.

DOJ Sues Washington, D.C. Over Assault Weapons Ban
The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Washington, D.C., challenging its ban on AR-15 style rifles and other semiautomatic firearms, arguing that the law violates the Second Amendment because the firearms in question are commonly owned and widely used for lawful purposes. The lawsuit relies heavily on Supreme Court precedent from Heller and Bruen, which emphasize that weapons in common use fall under constitutional protection. The case highlights a growing legal battle over whether governments can effectively redefine constitutional rights by labeling certain arms as uniquely dangerous despite their widespread civilian ownership, turning protected rights into conditional permissions.

Are We Quietly Replacing Free Expression with Permission Based Speech?
#GoRight with Peter Boykin Commentary
A Constitutional Republic does not protect speech because speech is always polite or convenient. It protects speech because the alternative is power deciding what can be said. That is why this issue is bigger than visas and bigger than tourists.
There are real threats in the world. Every nation screens entrants. No serious person denies that government has a duty to protect the public. But the moment the screening standard shifts from clear security triggers to ambiguous categories about attitude, culture, or whether your posts make someone uncomfortable, the system starts to drift. Drift is how rights disappear.
The quiet danger is how normal this can become. First it is travelers. Then it is workers. Then it is students. Then it is lawful residents. Then it is policies that make it easier to punish a person for what they shared, liked, reposted, or once wrote years ago. If an agency can demand you make your speech public so it can be judged, then speech becomes conditional. Conditional rights are not rights.
There is also a political irony here that should bother everyone. If America claims to defend free expression against foreign censorship pressure, then it must be careful not to build a domestic framework that treats unpopular views as disqualifying. You do not beat censorship by replacing it with a more official version.
The proper standard is simple. Target crime. Target real threats. Use clear definitions. Apply due process. And keep viewpoint out of the decision. If the government cannot explain in plain language what counts as disqualifying and why, then it is not a security policy. It is a power policy.
This is why the border checkpoint framing matters. A checkpoint is not only a physical place. It is a mindset. It is the moment power asks for permission to judge you before it lets you live your life.
Is Free Speech Becoming a Border Checkpoint?
https://t.co/NhyBLD0KNf
A Go Right breakdown of the expanding push to screen social media for travelers and visa applicants, the government’s security rationale, and the constitutional risks of turning speech into a disqualifying factor.
Trump Administration Expands Visa Screening Based on Political Speech
The administration expanded visa vetting requirements to include scrutiny of social media posts deemed “anti-American,” requiring applicants to disclose online speech that could be interpreted as hostile to U.S. policy or values. While immigration law allows the government broad discretion over admissions, the policy introduces ideological screening tied directly to expression, raising concerns about viewpoint discrimination and long-term precedent. Even though non-citizens do not enjoy full constitutional protections, policies that normalize political speech monitoring at the border risk setting standards that later migrate inward, blurring the line between national security screening and ideological enforcement.

Is Federal Power Being Normalized Through Emergency Moves?
#GoRight with Peter Boykin Commentary
This story gets reduced into a team sport because it has Trump’s name attached. That is the wrong frame.
The correct frame is whether the executive branch can normalize domestic deployments through emergency requests that skip the slow work of proving authority. The emergency lane is where precedents are born quickly. Courts either demand legal clarity, or they allow practice to become permission.
In a Constitutional Republic, the burden belongs to power. Power must name its authority, prove the trigger, and justify the scope. That is the point of checks and balances. It is not anti-law enforcement. It is pro limit.
If the federal government can deploy military associated forces into a state whenever politics get hot, then federalism becomes decoration. If the government can cite broad power without proving the statutory trigger, then limits become optional. And if citizens treat every court decision as a loyalty test, then the public loses the ability to defend the principle when their own side is the one testing it.
This is how liberty erodes. Not with one dramatic vote, but with repeated normalization. One emergency order becomes standard. One blurred line becomes the new rule. One interstate deployment becomes routine.
The only antidote is the same every time. Demand receipts. Demand legal authority. Demand transparency. And do not outsource your constitutional instincts to the loudest headline.
Did the Supreme Court Just Put a Hard Stop on Domestic Troop Deployments?
A Go Right breakdown of the Supreme Court decision keeping a National Guard deployment blocked in the Chicago area, the constitutional limits on domestic force, and why emergency power fights shape the future of federalism.
https://t.co/OMZqpyDmuk
Supreme Court Blocks National Guard Deployment to Chicago
The Supreme Court stepped in to block an effort by the Trump administration to deploy National Guard troops into Chicago in support of immigration enforcement, ruling that the legal authority cited did not justify domestic military involvement in civilian law enforcement. While the administration argued the move was necessary due to public safety concerns, the Court’s action reaffirmed long-standing constitutional limits rooted in the Posse Comitatus principle, which exists to prevent the routine use of military forces inside American cities. The decision quietly reinforced the idea that emergency language cannot be used as a shortcut around constitutional boundaries and that even strong executive priorities must operate within clearly defined legal authority.

Is America First Tearing Itself Apart While Pretending the Enemy Is Everywhere Else?
#GoRight with Peter Boykin Commentary
This episode dives into one of the wildest political weeks we have seen in a long time. It started with Trump calling MTG a traitor. It ended with a friendly Oval Office meeting between the President of the America First movement and the Democratic Socialist mayor of New York. If people wanted to rage about MTG going on The View, then they should have also questioned that Oval Office photo op. The double standards were loud.
We break down why meeting with the enemy is sometimes a strategy, why questioning Trump is not betrayal, and why loyalty with a backbone is healthier for this movement than blind obedience. MTG’s resignation speech laid out a harsh truth about both parties. They profit from chaos, raise money from outrage, and enter campaign safe mode while nothing gets done. She said what many of us have been warning about for years.
This podcast covers the cracks inside our own side, the tension, the confusion, and the reality that the movement is not losing because of MTG. It is losing because too many people cash in on division, while the real work gets ignored.
This is a fast-paced Drum and Bass intro that pushes the message with energy, urgency, and purpose.

Is America First Failing Because It Forgot Who The Real Enemy Is?
Is America First tearing itself apart from the inside while the real enemy walks free? In this #GoRight with Peter Boykin commentary, we dig into the infighting, purity tests, influencer battles, and loyalty wars that are weakening a movement built to defend the Constitutional Republic. Instead of uniting against corruption, trafficking networks, foreign influence, censorship, and the elite machine working against the American people, too many conservatives are turning their fire on each other.

This episode challenges the movement to wake up, refocus, and remember what the fight is really about. The Republic isn’t threatened by honest debate; it’s threatened when we let division blind us to the forces actively undermining our freedom.
If America First wants to survive, it must stop swinging at its own and start defending the country it claims to love. The real enemy isn’t inside the house. The real enemy is outside, trying to burn it down.
